I promised myself that I would post on this topic at least weekly to follow my work, step by step.
It is not easy to produce and document at the same time, especially when we do not have the necessary tools – a good tripod for a camera, a good camera to be able to shoot … So we are doing what we have.
This is the fifth part of the huge canvas that I am doing all of it with mandalas. If you want to see the process that takes us here, I leave the links below.
After having completed one of the screens entirely, I switched to the mandala that is between the brown tones and the blue ones. The dilemma is always the same – what colors to use?
In order for it to be in harmony with the adjacent ones, I tried to go for the greenish colors, although I did not want to use green itself. I think if I used it it would be too ostentatious.
Gradually I added a few notes of earth colors, brown and beige, the result is being this.
The mandala begins to take on color and meaning, and I like the combination of colors, it provides something calm and earthy.
And this is where I am today, this mandala will grow behind the two adjacent ones. I hope the result is pleasant.
The funny thing is that as a whole, each mandala awakens a different type of feeling.
Let’s continue the artwork and see where it leads.
